Here’s me breaking down in detail all the reasoning, assumptions and thought processing that goes on in the background when I’m ‘deciding what to work’ on every day. I feel like I ‘just do what I want without schedules’ every day: and I do. It’s just I have a whole bunch of reasoning that I’ve been doing for so long in the background that has now just turned into ‘intuition’. Here’s that intuition and thoughts broken down: hopefully anyone who works or thinks the same way as me can save themselves some time in getting to the same or similar views on work.

DISCLAIMER: I do try to mention it wherever it’s relevant, but for some reason did not remember to in this video: I DO work 10h+ some days, I DO also then not work for days and days in a row on those things. This scheduling is very hot-and-cold for me, and is the best way I function: letting myself work as long as I want to when I feel like it (which tends to be a lot) and not forcing myself to do work when I don’t feel like it (which is equally often).
This turns out to be the most anti-burnout-friendly thing for me – just wanted to point out I do NOT work consistently crazy hours – I work inconsistently crazy hours if that makes sense
