Easy Mole Sauce
Royal Prestige® Utensils
4qt Dutch Oven
10” Gourmet Skillet
4 pasilla chiles
¼ cup roasted pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 large onion
3 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon dry oregano
½ teaspoon anise seeds
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 can (14.5 oz) whole tomatoes or 3 medium tomatoes
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoon raisins
4 teaspoons MAGGI Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
1 ½ tablets NESTLÉ ABUELITA Authentic Mexican Hot Chocolate Drink
cut in small pieces
2 cups water
Place chiles, garlic, onion, tomatoes, and water in the 4qt Dutch Oven.
Cover with the valve open.
Cook at medium-high temperature until valve whistles. Reduce temperature
to low and cook another 5 minutes. Let cool.
Toast the sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds in the Gourmet Skillet for 4 minutes
at medium temperature.
Place all the chilies, onion, tomatoes, garlic, and water in the Power Blender.
Add remaining ingredients and process at medium-high speed until it automatically turns off.
Mole sauce is ready to be served with your favorite dish.
For added flavor, you can fry the mole in a bit of oil.
