The Delhi LG has sent a legal notice for defamation to six Aam Admi Party leaders, including Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak, Sanjay Singh, and Jasmine Shah, for leveling “derogatory, malicious” charges against him. The notice demands that the AAP leaders issue a press release “directing all of the party’s members and all people associated with it, to directly or indirectly, cease and desist from spreading and circulating any kind of false, defamatory and unsubstantiated statements.” The legal notice also asks that the AAP leaders abide by the requisitions within 48 hours of receiving them.
