A Russian vehicle tries to divert two wrecked vehicles and stumbled across a mine.
Geolocation: 48.878582, 38.253611
I thought I would take a look at this video here, again showing a Russian tank running over a mine. These seem to be causing a lot of trouble for Russia. What’s interesting about this video is that two other vehicles are already on the road—possibly also hit by mines, but we can’t rule out other possibilities. Still, he decides to drive around and them and runs slap bang into trouble.
Before we look at the location, there are two screenshots I want to go through. Now, it is quite a blurred video, but the vehicle has something on top. I think these are soldiers—Russian soldiers have taken to riding outside the vehicle because it’s safer for if the vehicle gets hit. We;ve seen a few videos of soldiers surviving blasts on top of the vehicle which they might not have inside.
Second—this screenshot here. Something comes very close to hitting the following vehicle. This could be a piece of wreckage or, given the fact soldiers were on top, it could be a body. It is too hard to tell for sure.
So, this took place here. I have added an arrow, showing the directio the two vehicles were heading. They were headign west.
Now, this is near a town called Zolotarivka. As shown here, under 2 kilometers from the contested areas. Judging by its direction and route, I think it is very likely that it is heading either towards the area of Verk-no-kam-yan-ske or, to turn north towards the action in and around Hry-hor-ivka.
Either way, the vehicle was heading to the front for some neferious purpose, and its better for Ukraine that it didn’t get there.
And here, zoomed out to show where it took place overall. So West of Lysychansk.
